Main Duties:
Supervise and be responsible for the EHS activities for the responsible work. To stop any unsafe activities/behavior on site immediately (for all works), make correction and report to immediate supervisor and safety engineer/manager in charge.
Supervise and be responsible for the installation quality of the works being assigned.
Organized/attend Kick-off Meeting, Package Regular Meeting, Daily Coordination Meeting, Safety Site Inspection and any other meeting as required.
Attend Daily Tool Box Meeting, Pre-task Planning review meeting. Required work permit must be in place before work commence on site.
Review construction method statement. Ensure that contractor is following the approved method statement for executing the works on site.
Maintain latest set of construction drawings and approved technical submission at all time.
Conduct regular site inspections as per detailed in the Inspection Test Plan (ITP).
Check all incoming material to ensure that it is compliance with approved submittals and approved samples. Identify defects and reject the material / equipment prior to installation.
Check and ensure that the site installation details comply with the approved moke up.
Check and ensure that the installation is compliance with system design, space management requirement. To maintain a set of drawing showing area that has been inspected.
Maintain all inspection reports, testing records for the system/area assigned
Issue Non-Compliance Report (NCR) for any installation that not compliance with approved specification, submittal, sample, mock up and method statement. Monitor and organize the subcontractor to close the NCR timely.
Prepare and maintain the submittal log for construction material/sample/mockup.
Monitor and control the material / equipment delivery and installation schedule to ensure that the system completed timely. Prepared look ahead schedule for equipment delivery and site installation work.
Prepare and submit Daily Construction Report, Weekly/Monthly Progress Report for system/area being assigned
Check and update as-built drawings regularly. As built conditions need to be updated prior to closing of conceal services such as underground facilities installation, embedded services and etc.
Leading the contractors/supplier to work closely with the commissioning team and authorities to complete the system testing and commissioning work.
Ensure the proper housekeeping is maintained for area/system being assigned. Always maintain “Clean as You Go”.
Prior to any testing and commissioning process, conduct Design Verification to system to ensure that the installation is compliance with design requirement.
Coordinate with interfacing parties such as mechanical, electrical, IC, EHS, other contractors and authority for successful completion of the work being assigned.
Organize and conduct the handover inspection of area/system with client, jianli and contractor. Record and keep track of the punchlist item to ensure they are being closed timely.

Requirements:
Degree or equivalent in Construction Engineering or relevant engineering disciplines
3 - 6 years relevant experience
2 - 3 years additional experience for each higher grade of progression
